Help at hand

A person meeting SkyKeep for the first time should never have to go

looking for the manual. Beside every substantive control there is a

small link, and one click on it lands on the paragraph that explains

that control — not on the front page of the help, and not on the top of

a long page they then have to search.

The links are not written into the pages. Every one of them names a

topic, and a single registry inside the vault says where that topic

lives. That is what makes the promise keepable: a section of the manual

that is renamed or moved is one edit in one place, and a link that would

have gone nowhere fails the vault's own tests instead of quietly landing

a reader somewhere wrong.

Two things these links deliberately are not. They are not a signal about

what you may do: a help link is on the page whether or not the vault

would let you use the control beside it, so nobody can learn what exists

by reading which explanations are offered. And they are not a shortcut

into the vault: the manual holds no document, no compartment name and no

account, which is why it can be read by somebody who has not signed in

at all.
